Are you looking to optimize your testosterone therapy or cycle? Our TRT & Testosterone Dosage Calculator helps you estimate the right dose based on your goals. Follow this simple guide to get accurate results.
Step 1: Enter Your Current Testosterone Level
- Get your latest blood test results (measured in ng/dL or nmol/L).
- If you don’t know your level, a typical baseline is:
- Healthy young men: 400–700 ng/dL
- Low T (hypogonadism): Below 300 ng/dL
🔹 Example: If your bloodwork shows 350 ng/dL, enter that value.
Step 2: Set Your Desired Testosterone Level
- For TRT (Therapeutic Use): Aim for 700–1200 ng/dL (natural high-normal range).
- For Performance Enhancement (Cycles): Some users target 1500–3000+ ng/dL (not recommended without medical supervision).
🔹 Example: If you want 900 ng/dL for TRT, input that number.
Step 3: Select Your Testosterone Ester
Different esters release testosterone at varying speeds:
- Enanthate/Cypionate: Slow release (~5–7 days), best for TRT.
- Propionate: Fast release (~2–3 days), requires frequent injections.
- Suspension (No Ester): Immediate release (daily injections).
🔹 Example: If using Testosterone Cypionate, select it from the dropdown.
Step 4: Choose Injection Frequency
More frequent injections = more stable levels.
- Once per week: Simple but may cause peaks & crashes.
- Twice per week (E3.5D): Best balance for most users.
- Every Other Day (EOD): Smoothest levels, good for Propionate.
🔹 Example: If injecting twice weekly, select that option.
Step 5: Calculate & Understand Your Results
After submitting, the calculator provides:
✅ Weekly Testosterone Dose (mg/week) – Total amount needed.
✅ Per-Injection Dose (mg) – How much to inject each time.
✅ Estimated Peak & Trough Levels – How your levels fluctuate.
🔹 Example Output:
- Weekly Dose: 120 mg
- Per Injection (2x/week): 60 mg
- Estimated Peak: ~1100 ng/dL
- Estimated Trough: ~700 ng/dL
Important Notes & Disclaimer
- Bloodwork is Essential: Always confirm doses with lab tests (4–6 weeks after starting).
- Individual Responses Vary: Body fat, SHBG, and metabolism affect results.
- Consult a Doctor for TRT: Self-administration carries risks.
- Steroid Cycles Require PCT: High doses suppress natural testosterone.
